Today was amazing. I spent the day at the mall with Eli. We drank too much coffee, sprayed ourselves with 13 different perfumes/colognes each, and made fools of ourselves. It was nice. I hadn't seen him since school let out so it was nice to be able to talk to him. We did way too much walking though. My knee is killing me. Walking does not go well with my left knee because of a torn ligament that healed incorrectly. And I have volleyball practice in the morning. That will be a joy with my knee. :/ Oh well. I'll live.

Today is a happy day. Or is it? The flowers are in full bloom, the heat is moderate and I have my family near. But there are still terrors lurking about. The unfinished quilt, the over-due books, the sink piled high with dirty dishes. I should move on from my peaceful retreat in the tree and work, banishing the lurking terrors. But then again, why should i leave? :)
